Business Optimization Solutions mission is to assist businesses around the world in creating work environments conducive to personal and professional growth and development. The most important and valuable resource any organization has is its workforce. People strive in environments that address their personal and professional needs and aspirations. Our goal is to help businesses develop and maintain such environments through education, training, counseling, and professional consultation and coaching. We utilize a wide spectrum of resources to help us reach our goal: professionals within our network include psychologists, counselors, life and business coaches, financial counselors, educators, and many other specialists ready to share their knowledge and expertise with our clients. PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT & UTILIZATION REVIEW
We believe that we have a great product to offer and to ensure that the quality of our service remains high we are continuously monitoring our efficiency and effectiveness both internally and externally. Internally, we have developed a comprehensive performance improvement program that helps us identify ways in which we can enhance our services. Externally, we maintain inclusive utilization review reports that are shared with the management of companies that do business with us
Performance Improvement
Within the scope of our comprehensive Performance Improvement (PI) program, we use a number of PI indicators that help us measure, track, evaluate, and improve our services.

Our PI indicators are derived from the analysis of:
  • evaluation of our orientations, presentations, and training programs
  • reviews of referral records
  • client satisfaction surveys
  • management satisfaction surveys
  • and other useful criteria
Utilization Review
In order to continuously improve the quality of our services, we are committed to maintaining detailed utilization review and trend analysis reports and sharing the data with the companies that partner with us. Since all of our internal records are confidential, our reports do not include any clients' identifiable information. However, they do contain a wealth of data that are very useful to us and to the management of the companies we work with in analyzing the value and effectiveness of our services. Our Utilization Review / Trend Analysis reports typically include aggregated data on the following:

  • in-services / training programs / presentations
  • referral source / type of referral
  • demographics
  • types of services provided
  • new cases / follow-up cases
  • and other pertinent information
We see great value of PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT and UTILIZATION REVIEW programs to us, as well as the companies that partner with us in their quest to optimize the performance of their businesses

Comprehensive training programs for managers are focused on developing and honing effective management skills in the workplace.
Individual & Group Consulting for Executive Management
Members of executive management teams are offered customized individual and groups business consulting sessions and presentations.
24-Hour Telephone Response & Referral Support
Around-the-clock assistance with various resources and referrals through a confidential toll-free service to all employees and managers.
On-Line Support & Referral Services
Secure access to the Business Optimization Solutions' on-line support and referral network.
BOS Policy Development and Coordination
Business Optimization Solutions are available to consult with management and key liaisons at the onset of the program and continuously throughout with regards to the development and implementation of BOS-related policies and procedures, coordination with related policies and services, coordination with risk management activities, addition of on-site training programs and other support activities.
Annual Periodic Utilization Reports
Comprehensive utilization and activity reports specifically customized to the company's benefit are generated and presented annually, as well as upon the company's request.
Access to BOS Information
A wide variety of materials, including printed materials and on-line resources, is made available to all employees to maximize awareness in the workplace and to promote easy access to BOS services and support.

Employee Self-Referrals
Any employee of the company may use the BOS services and resources at any time to elicit help with a wide variety of issues that include, but are not limited to:
· Personal/emotional/psychological issues
· Work- or home-related stress
· Life coaching
· Marital/spousal counseling
· Family counseling
· Professional growth/career issues
· Financial planning
· Job performance issues
· Inter-personal conflict
· Help in finding and utilizing community resources
Management Referrals
Any manager may refer an employee to BOS for any of the issues listed in the Employee Self-Referrals. Employee's follow-up with the program is voluntary, however with a written permission from the employee, BOS is able to evidence employee's participation.
Management Consultations
Any manager may use BOS for professional consultation purposes to assist them in enhancing the manager's performance, as well as that of their respective departments.
Scheduled In-Services, Presentations, & Training Programs
BOS offers a variety of scheduled in-services, presentations, and training programs for employees and managers.
Customized In-Services, Presentations, & Training Programs
Members of management and executive management teams may request in-services, presentations, and training programs focused on specific issues that are especially pertinent to the organization in general, or any department within the organization in particular.
Executive Management Referrals
Any member of the Executive Management Team may refer their managers to BOS for any of the issues listed in the Employee Self-Referrals, as well as such issues as:
Leadership training programs
Team building
Business coaching
Risk Control
Stress Management
Conflict Resolution

Individual / Group Business Sessions for Executive Management
Individual and group consulting sessions are offered to members of executive teams for any topics listed in the Self-Referral section AND Executive Management Referrals section, as well as any other business-related issues in a as customized executive coaching format.

Is there a toll-free number for me to call when contacting BOS?
Yes, there is a 24-hour telephone response and referral support set up through a toll-free number for all employees and managers of your company.
What information should I have at hand for this initial contact?
Your home and work addresses: we may need them to set you up with various services in your area.
Your telephone numbers (home, work, cell) and your e-mail address: we need that to be able to schedule and verify your appointments, as well as to contact you with any follow-ups and referrals.
Some demographic information, such as your date of birth, pay grade level, and your company name: we need this information for our statistical reports only; please remember that your identity will be protected as all of our services are confidential.

Please know that we will try to help you to the best of our ability WHETHER we have all this information or not. However, having these data certainly helps us to develop better ways to help you and to customize the resources we offer to you to address your specific needs.
Is the information I provide confidential?
Yes. The information you share with us will only be available to those who will be providing services to you. Your counselor/coach will discuss confidentiality with you in detail and will provide you with some written information on the subject.
After the initial contact, will anybody check with me to see if I am making progress with the resources you have suggested?
Absolutely. A few days after you initial contact, we will call you to check if you were able to connect with the specialist we referred you to and/or if you are making progress with utilizing our resources and referrals. That having been said, you do not need to wait for our follow-up call if you have any questions about our referrals or if you are experiencing any difficulties connecting with our specialists – simply call out toll-free number for immediate assistance. And of course, feel free to call us with your feedback any time.
